VISUAL TESTING

Visual examination is an essential non-destructive method used namely to examine the condition of products and facilities with the naked eye, or via cameras, video endoscopes and other devices.

The visual inspections are divided in two categories:

• VTp – Direct visual testing: VTp is a basic technique where there is no middle link between the inspector and the object (display device).
• VTn – Indirect visual testing: VTn is a basic technique where there is a middle link between the inspector and the object (display device). These include cameras, video endoscopes and the like.
