RT – RADIOGRAPHY

Irradiation is one of the basic non-destructive testing methods. This test uses local changes of radiation intensity through the tested object. the change is recorded using radiographic films, foils or sensors.

The irradiation test focuses on volume internal defects. The testing is done on various types of materials, metallic and non-metallic.

We use radioactive isotopes and x-ray lamps. Testing with radioactive isotopes uses ¹⁹²Ir and ⁷⁵Se.

Film processing is under continuous supervision. The process is either manual or automated. the evaluation is done on the basis of standards required by the customer.
