UT – ULTRASONIC TESTING

Ultrasound testing is one of the basic methods in the field of non-destructive testing of materials. The test uses the principle of ultrasound waves going through flexible homogeneous environment – material.

Ultrasound tests focus namely on the identification of surface defects, such as cracks, cold joints or lamination, and checking the wall thickness and specific volume defects of materials. Defects of both the basic material and welded joints are identified during this test, too.

The testing is done on various types of materials, metallic and non-metallic, including plastics.

We offer comprehensive non-destructive ultrasound material testing. We measure material wall thickness, using both ultrasound thickness meters and defectoscopes.

Only modern digital devices are currently used for the testing. We utilise a wide range of test probes by renown manufacturers for various applications. Simple manipulators and other equipment are utilised.
